Implementation Support & Technical Assistance

Turning learning into lasting practice.

Organizations invest significant time and resources in professional development because they want to improve outcomes for children and families. Yet meaningful change rarely happens because people attended a training. It happens when new learning is supported over time through thoughtful implementation, reflective leadership, ongoing technical assistance, and opportunities to learn together.

Implementation is ultimately a human process. Policies, procedures, and implementation plans matter, but people bring those plans to life. Clinicians, supervisors, managers, and executizzve leaders all play an essential role in creating the conditions where evidence-informed, relationship-based practice can flourish.

My role is to partner with organizations throughout that process—from early planning through long-term sustainability.

A Partnership Approach

Every organization has its own history, culture, strengths, challenges, and priorities. Rather than offering a predetermined implementation model, I work collaboratively with leadership and implementation teams to understand where you are today, clarify where you want to go, and develop practical strategies that fit your organization.

Together we identify barriers, build on existing strengths, strengthen leadership capacity, and create implementation plans that are realistic, sustainable, and aligned with your mission.

Implementation support is never “done to” an organization. It is developed in partnership with the people who know the work best.

What Makes Implementation Successful?

Across every organization I have partnered with, one lesson continues to emerge:

Successful implementation depends less on finding the perfect strategy than on creating the conditions where people can learn, reflect, collaborate, and adapt together.

Organizations are most successful when they:

Invest in reflective leadership.

  • Build internal champions.

  • Support supervisors as leaders of implementation.

  • Create opportunities for ongoing learning.

  • Encourage curiosity and critical thinking.

  • Balance fidelity with thoughtful problem-solving.

  • View implementation as continuous learning rather than a one-time event.

Implementation is not simply about adopting a model. It is about strengthening an organization’s ability to continue learning long after implementation has officially ended.

Why Organizations Partner With Me

  • Launching a new clinical initiative.

  • Expanding or strengthening an existing program.

  • Building statewide or regional implementation efforts.

  • Developing supervisors and implementation leaders.

  • Designing Learning Collaboratives.

  • Strengthening reflective supervision.

  • Improving workforce retention and professional development.

  • Integrating relationship-based, trauma-informed, and developmentally informed practice.

  • Looking for an experienced implementation partner who understands both the clinical work and the organizational realities required to sustain it.

Whether working with a single agency or a large statewide initiative, my goal remains the same: helping organizations build the people, relationships, leadership, and systems that create lasting improvements for children and families.
